Christopher E. Gaye – President

Mr. Gaye is our General Securities Principal, Financial and Operations Principal, and Municipals Principal. Prior to joining the firm in September 2000 Mr. Gaye held financial executive positions with Alexander’s, Mercantile Stores, and One-Price Clothing. In the securities industry he was associated with American Express Advisors, and PFS Investments, a part of Citigroup. He graduated from the University of Southern Alabama, and has done graduate work at UCLA and Hofstra University in Management and Accounting.

Helen A. Zita – Office Manager & Account Executive

Mrs. Zita joined our firm in 1992. For 15 years she worked for the Federal Reserve Bank of New York before giving up commuting to join another local securities firm.

Preston V. Pumphrey - Account Executive

Mr. Pumphrey has been a securities broker in Syosset since 1996. He served as principal of this firm from 1979 until 2001 when Mr. Gaye acquired the business. In July 2008 he rejoined the firm as an Account Executive. Mr. Pumphrey graduated from Dartmouth College where he majored in Business Administration. He currently serves as a director of an unaffiliated social responsibility mutual fund.
